Default dual cherrybomb glasspacks on a 1998 v6 mustang?

hey, i was wondering how dual glasspack cherrybombs would sound on my 1998 v6 mustang, i also have a cold air intake if that helps any. I asked a mechanic and he said the glasspacks would sound better than flowmasters since its only a v6.

alot of times cherrybombs dont really belong on a v6 mustang.. alot of people dont like it.. it doesnt really have that deep growl that youll get from flowmasters.. youll get more of a medium pitched drone

I dissagree, I think the Cherrybombs sound great on a V6. I think dual cherrybombs only sound better. I personally don't like the flow's on V6's unless it has a good amount of mods to it to make the exhaust a bit louder. I have one on my single exhaust right now and I will definitely do dual cherrybombs as soon as I go dual.

I had glasspacks on my '01 a couple years' back. I liked the sound at cruising, but wide open was harsh. You will get a deeper sound with bigger tips......

It sounds nothing like a ricer exhaust. Here's a clip of mine on a single exhaust, car was completely stock at the time.

I have a dynorun on it with glasspacks and nitrous. I believe it is on youtube videos under shine1stang. It should be my silver '01. If not, it is under shinerstang videos......

I'm at work and do not have access to youtube. So if someone can paste it here, that would be great......

Thanks Markstang..... That's when it put down 267rwhp, and 385rwtq on a 75 shot. It's more than that now with the LT's, Windstar, and a slightly larger pill......

It seems like it took forever to pull to 6k on that run. My '02 takes about 2 1/2 seconds to go from 40 to 140mph on the dyno. I think I have Tom Jr's runs on youtube videos under shinerstang. His car twists because of the torque. Mine does too, but I never got a video of it and the only one I have is on a disk.....
