When your sitting, are your fans coming on? If not check or replace the relay, that may cure your problem. Or flush the coolant, if you haven't done it in a while. When you add the new coolant, add a bottle of red line water wetter that will lower your coolant temp, Mike. SCT Tuner.

the extra heating only when sitting there makes it sound like your fan isnt coming on.. is it?

turn the ac to MAX with the wndows down otherwise its just cooling already cold air. if that isnt your problem i would try to clean your radiator and condenser. hit it with a pressure washer from the backside. maintain a distance though or else you might damage them. doing that stopped my heating problems
