But right now im holding off on it since im upgrading my rearend to a 8.8 with 3.73's The rearend will be installed sometime in the middle of next month
My max rwhp i want to get with the turbo will be 300. Also 250-290rwhp will be fine but i wonder how much HP/TQ would 8psi give me. Im thinking about 250rwhp
I hope it hits 300rwhp, but it is highly doubtful. Your efficiency is too low for the car to breathe properly. If you had an HCI intake combo, it would be really close to 300. Make sure your hot side piping is large enough so you don't get backpressure.....

nice good luck with the build!
how much boost you plan on running? I know there are some wastegates for sale on corral.net
thanx
And i plan on starting off with 8psi. If i get the amount of hp i want from it (around 250rwhp or so) then im going to stop right there and maybe bump up the boost later on or even while im getting dyno tuned
what mods do you have done to your car?? i think you'll need 12psi to get 250 to the wheels. if you really wanna get serious i would think about having the heads worked. I know a guy that is porting a set right now and wants to sell after he is done

also have my stock shorty headers with DEI exhaust wrap
Well, we have an idea of potential, but we have a few more questions:
1. What type of pistons? Compression ratio? What type and gap of rings?
2. What type of rods?
3. What size valves in the ported heads?
4. Who did the porting?
5. Did you have any dyno figures?
All this is important information if you have these mods......

to answer ? 1-3 everything is stock. Since my motor was rebuilt and i didnt have enough cash to buy forged i went ahead and got sealed power pistons/rings/cam(stock). I used my stock rods.
the mech that rebuilt my motor also ported my heads. They told me to get a performance cam so that i could get alot of power since they ported my heads. Once again, i didnt have enough money to buy a cam
and my dyno tune numbers were 135hp/199tq. Also i was told that the dyno was under rated(about 40 hp/tq difference) So I "think" im around 175hp/239tq. I think i do have those numbers since i could beat stock 99-04 v6 Mustangs (auto that is ). And im head to head with slighty modded one's. http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../DynoSheet.jpg
the tuner did an awsome job tuning my stang. He did what he could and also said i needed a performance cam since i ported my heads.
