I just bought a 2000 v6 mustang, my problem is, don't see how I missed this when I bought it.... but the drivers side wondow I believe is off track... it rolls up and down but gets caught on my convertible top... and there is a space that I can stick my finger in on the backside of the window.... how hard is it to fix? and how much do you think it would cost?

When something similar happened to my wife's Civic, it was a matter of pulling off the inside door panel, and getting it straightened out. If the door panels are attached anywhere near the same, it would help to have the little panel puller tool, but it wasn't a bad job.

In addition, if your unsure about removing panels yourself. Your car should have a state issued warranty that pertains to quality assurance. If you bought it a few days ago (Dunno what "Just" means) you should be able to go to the dealer and they'll fix it for you if they aren't cruel people, if they refuse to then like smoke said it shouldn't be too hard, just make sure to file your complaint with documentation so in case anythign really comes up with the car you can have documents saying you talked to them previously about stuff.

are you saying the window rolls up too high?

when you remove the door panel, you will see 2 adjustable stops with a 13mm bolt on each side of the door frame.
