i just go a custom exaust on my 2000 3.8L its true dules from the cats back with 2.5inch tips in the center of the bumper. i wanted somthing original. just wanted to know what anybody thought about it. thanks (check profile for a picture)
Looks cool - very unique!! Custom work always has special appeal, and it makes you (the customizer) feel more ownership & creativity, so enjoy that, too!
On a side note: any way you could incorporate the tips more with the bumper? Maybe some cutouts so the tips sit even with the bumper would make it look more like they belonged... (which I think is what peeps are hinting as why they like the Saleen version ) Just a friendly suggestion - it's still a great job!

ive been looking for a different bumper or trying to find the best way to cut my existing one. im not sure what im going to do yet but for now i like it
It looks well done. If you could cut the bumper or find an aftermarket bumper with the center cutout, I think it'll look sleeker.

I had this idea way back in the when. I have a 98 so I think it would look better with my model of bumper but I decided against it. I was actually going to get square tips so that they sat a bit more flush but yours doesn't look too bad.
