So this kid i know and i are talking cars and we both have v6 mustang his is a 99 and mine is an 03. he starts telling me how he would beat me in a race becasue of his shift kit and 60 lb injectors. now i disagree because he has double the miles i do which means more wear and tear this car has not been treated correctly. I am only running cai with no back seat and spare( he also has no spare) who do u think would win in an upright drag thanks for the help.
also though fuel injecter with that lbs just runs really rich and doesn't help hp that much
60lb injectors is way to much for that car did he put them in ??? sounds like he heard somebody talk about injectors and said he had bigger ones if he acutally does have them it would probally flood his car out so you would win i think
60lb injectors are way overkill for a N/A V6.
Are you driving an auto or a 5-speed?
If you are both autos it would be a very close race. He has the advantage of the shift kit, but you have slightly less weight and a CAI. I doubt those would make a huge difference overall.

Agreed - it sounds like a driver's race to me. No real blowout either way. So I say, give it a run!!

Those 60's are total overkill. To warrant 60 pound injectors on a V6, he'd have to be at 600 hp which means he'd have to have a big honking turbo, blower, or big nitrous system. Otherwise, he'd be way rich and run lousy.

Tell him he's an idiot, and kick his butt..... Nobody puts 60's on an N/A car. It is too hard to tune the fuel trim, and won't run right......
2000 V6
A.M. CAI
Dual exhaust w/Flowmaster super 44's.
GoodYear F1 tires
17" five spoke GT rims
Painted calipers, Painted pony, flat black painted hood stripe, flat black painted spoiler.
Nobody seems to listen until you leave them in the dust. I would have just accepted his challenge. If you still can then you should race him and bet him. 6/10 young adults can't seem to shift properly anyways.
