What type of motor oil are you using? Just wanting to see what kind of oil do the majority mustang owners use
. (v6 or v8 doesnt matter
)
And if you add/use any oil additives
Me, im using motorcraft synthetic blend 10w-30 with a motorcraft oil filter

i've been using Mobile 1 fully synthetic 5w30 for a long time...no complaints.
no additives, other than seafoaming the crankcase every 15k miles.

I run Castrol Full Synthetic 10w-30.
At Autozone they have a great deal on it. A 5.28 quart jug with a K&N filter for $26.99
RP is usually $8.99 a quart around here.

k&n oil filters are a complete waste of money.
Mobile 1 5W-20 for the win.

alot of people bash fram too but i bought a new 88 f250 and used fram for 310,000 miles, 14 years, and it ran great when i sold it. so go figure. you can bet 20 different filters come out of the same production shop with different paint and labels.

When I was at Wal Mart the other day, I was picking up some motor oil for my V8 and I saw that they carried RP for 8.99 a qt
and I saw the Mobil 1 5 qt jug for $22 so, it was obvious which one I was going to get. Maybe next time when I see a special on RP, I'll try it out.
