Hey guys! I haven't been here for awhile since I crashed my old Mustang back in May so now I have a new Automatic V6 '03 Mustang but the thing is that it doesn't have a traction control button like my old 04 Mustang did! So I wanted to ask how can you burnout without the traction control?
uhm are you saying the car doesnt have traction controll... cuz in that case itshuldbe very simple to burn rubber in but sorry to hear about the old stang R.I.P lol
Yeah if you don't have traction control there is nothing restricting the power from going to your rear wheels. It should be really easy to spin the wheels. Stand on the brake, build the revs up, let off the brakes.

If it doesn't spin the tires then its just an excuse to buy new mods for the engine! IMO there isn't enough power till I can spin the tires in all five gears!!

Get it on a little slope. Get it rolling down hill backwards in neutral. Rev it to about 2000 rpm, pull it into drive and adjust the throttle to keep the speedo at about 70 MPH.
A buddy of mine, when we were in high school, did that with his mom's 71 429 T-Bird. Oh my...... we left a burn mark on the road that was there for years.
Don't do this at home boys and girls.

not unless you want to mess up ur tranny
like some other people do....they are at a stop and rev it up to 4000rpms and then just drop it down to drive <<---- "this is a big no no"

ever broke a axle? well you wont do it on street tires, but U joints, trans connections, trans pressure plates, hydro senders, bands and links all could go up in smoke.
the AUTO trans works on fluid pressure.
you should never rev high in N then go in to gear.
you should never go from gear at speeds in to N and rev, the fluids could kick up and put u in to a lower gear or even worse...reverse.
if you cant burn out just by throwing down some water, and brakeing it then adding gas...your car wasent made for it.
i dont think he will have a problem....but the hills a big big no no...as stated above.
its like in any auto car or truck.
its BEST to come to a complete stop before changeing gears from R to drive or drive to R

i have yet to find some one else who when changing their oil ( every 2000 miles or when they get bored ) details the under side of their car.
X-C April 2010,Heads, Cam,Internals April 2011, or blown engine, witch ever comes first.
The transformation has begun!
step 1) make sure the only people that can see you do this are on the passenger side of the car, and are not law enforcement officials.
step 2) put car in drive, and place your foot on the brake
step 3) slowly build up rpms
step 4) stay on the brake and gas, after you feel you've done the appropriate stand still burnout, let off the brake, and floor it.
step 5) if you wanna get tricky, after you let off the brake and floor it, turn the wheel sharply!!!! donut time!
step 6) do it again, but this time, add bleach to the tire!!!!

can you even do it being peg legged and all?.. i mean maybe after you get moving a little bit youll be able to slide but wouldnt it just try to stick to the ground?
a stock 210 hp 05+v6 can do it. i dont see why a 190 hp v6 couldnt...

what i like to do in my automatic is put it into 1 (low gear), apply breaks and gas until im at 5000 rpms (but not moving) then let go of the break and floor it. you get a very long burn out line and plenty of smoke
