Default 3.8 engine rebuild
does anyone know if there is a guide for rebuilding the 3.8 ????

i know i can do it myself but this is my first rebuild so just want to see if there is one that anyone knows about as a precaution

try a haynes manual or a chiltons manual.

+1 Chiltons would be my choice. either one isn't very expensive at all.

If you are planning a performance rebuild, books will not help you at all.

Performance building uses a totally different set of specs......

i was under the assumption he was rebuilding a stocker.
he didnt mention a performance build.

That could be 232, but I saw the number "4.2" in his sig and thought he was doing a stroker. It's all good.......
