Default 1994 3.8 automatic catalytic converters removal question

So luckily for me there are no emissions laws here in Newfoundland Canada and I was hoping to take advantage by removing my CAT converters. They've never been changed as far as I can tell and the car has 205Km's. For a while now they've been pretty bad and my gas mileage has been pretty low @ only 400-450km's a tank (provided I keep the RPM's below 2k). Currently the only mods I have on the car are an AM CAI and 8mm MSD ignition wires, both of which claim to improve gas mileage.

So there's the cars background, now the business end of the question is, what's the best way to go about the removal process for the CATs? I know there are pros and cons but for the cost of replacing 4 catalytic converters I think I'll just cut em! Any advice on the idea is greatly appreciated, thanks.

not al are converters 2 are 2 are resonators you might just want to replace the 2 you will lose some back pressure i think plus i dont think the v6 sounds good with no cats

v6's dont sound very good catless unless there are some power adders in the mix. the exhaust note gets really poppy and tin can sounding. i would just keep em.

:O i say cut them if you want something really loud. dont if it would drive you crazy. as for a tin can sound it depends on the muffler i think. theres 4 of us down here with no cats me 44 flowmaster X pipe another magnaflow H pipe , slp X pipe and the last one single flowmasters 40 no duals. the one without duals sound really tin canny lol. doesnt sound good besides it being pretty loud at all rpm. SLP loud high pitch sound all the time. Magnaflow popping truck sound and the 44s gargling sound till you start mashing the gas peddle. then around 3k in first high pitch sound second gear 4k high pitch sound 3 gear.. i cant remember but you get where im going with it. Some people like it some dont. I cant tell you to go and watch a video bc video really doesn't give you the real thing but, it does give you an idea of what it will sound like.

no.

all 4 are cats.

the 2 that are closest to the headers are the precats, or "warmup convertors".

OP:
removing all the cats on a stock V6 will actually make it run worse and sound worse due to the loss of backpressure.
