Default BEST EXHAUST FOR V6 need help

I have a 2004 v6 mustang, looking to buy a performance dual exhaust kit. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for cat back systems. I've heard good things about Flowmasters but not sure which way to go. Thx

go on youtube and listen to the different exhausts on v6's.. its pretty much all personal taste.. one exhaust generally isnt much different than any other in terms of power

It's hard to go wrong with flowmasters. Just make sure you get rid of the y-pipe. You should probably look into an H pipe for that, but that, too, is a personal preferance. A little youtubing never did hurt anyone either.

nah no drone for me.. i think the mufflers youre thinking about are the violators. my street-pros are pretty nice... i would definitely have the y-pipe cut off and either a divorced duals setup or an h-pipe if i were to do it again tho..
that doesnt mean im not happy with them though.. gives a nice little growl when youre getting on the throttle..
nearly EVERYBODY gets flowmaster 40's.. i mean they sound good.. but in case youre one who doesnt like to follow the crowd .... just do some shoppin around listen to some of the different setups thatre out there

i have violators, of course mine is the next generation, im sure they arent much different. but my violators have little to no drone, just a bit when lightly accelerating around 25 mph, but who goes 25 mph, and how lightly accelerates???

You know, when I was looking into exhaust, I was leaning to magnaflow, slp, and regular glass packs. I didn't want the common flows. I went to a widely respected exhaust shop thinking I would get glass packs. But the guy turned me towards flowmasters. I had read a lot of things that said flowmasters and this guy said it, so I figured there was a reason behind it. I'm glad I got them. But, if you have the money, go borla. Do some youtubing and find out what YOU like. Remember, what we are telling you are just our opinions. But, in my opinion, it's hard to go wrong with the flows.

I've got spintech and my car sounds like a beast look into them. theyre similar to flowmasters but a little deeper sounding, and ive heard that flowmaster doesnt put enough restrictions on the airflow of the exhaust.

however its really really hard to find a video of the spintechs anywhere but just take my word for it theyre amazing. buy some from their site and go to a shop, tell them u want a H pipe and ull fall in love...

just my opinion tho...
