I personally think Flowmasters with no mid pipe (divorced duals) sound the best. MustangExhaust.com - Blog

i like the 44s flowmaster they were ok before i cut the cats. It was just to quiet for me :P. after cutting the cats im in love with it. It sounds like a monster at 1-3 rpm. which is what i do around town. Then if i step on it in first to 3k it gives a high pitch sound like thats your pulling time ur going hella fast sound lol. second gear it does it around 4k rpm. I love the sound. not to loud under mid accel LOUD under hard acceleration. A lot of my friends told me not to cut them it would sound bad since i have 2 other friends with magnaflow no cats h pipe and slp no cats x pipe. The magnaflow sounds to much like a truck imho the slp sounds ok just the high pitch sound that a v6 does doesnt sound nearly as mean as the v8 high pitch sound. The slp do it all the time at like 2k rpm +. which is just to much for me lol. Anywho thats besides the point what im trying to say was that a lot of the guys really like the sound the 44s x pip catless makes on my car, besides 1 guy that doesnt really like it (brother in law). Listen to some mustangs that dont have the cats see if you like it since you want your car loud as possible thats your best bet imo. Sorry for the long none sense post. Im just happy with the new exhaust
(ima put up a video on Youtube soon)

if you go to an exhaust shop they can maKe you a custom H-pipe. thats what they did for me. i searched up H-pipes online and some had crazy prices between 200$ and 700$...i got the custom H-pipe and it was 95$. cant beat that price i have dual flowmaster 44's and i love the sound but its a personal preference. Flowmasters are deeper than magnaflow. but if you wanna save some good money asK an exhaust shop how much theyd charge to do a custom H-pipe
