hey everyone i just recently got my first car for my for my 16 b-day.... a red 3.8l v6 mustang..i love the thing and it is in perfect shape...but i hate the stock sound...i want a dual exhaust from flowmaster...i want it as loud as i can get with still being a clean sound and not all choked up...i have looked at a few but i have no idea what system to go with...again i want it as loud as possible with a sick look...if anyone can post a website and what exhaust system to get i will appreciate it...thanks
i have a magnaflow dual on my 02 v6 and its AWESOME i have an extra exhaust kit a cat back that i can sell u if u want it ill send u info

um well i asked around and everyone that i asked suggested magnaflow over flowmaster i got maybe 2 flowmasters outta 15 and everyone said that magnaflow is the best bang for your buck and i do realze that now had it bout 4 months and never getting tired of it

i have the stock y pipe n it sounds amazin u dont need an x or h pipe n no they dont need to be custom made the system i have connects to the stock y pipe u cant use x or h with it that would be a even more expensive system and u would have to blow a bunch on n x or h pipe

I think it's all about preference, Tomato, Tamoto, There both good brands and Ive owned both of them but I like flowmasters,I have duel 440,there not as loud as you want but load enough for me.A Single Chamber will blow you ears off, if you can handle the constant resonance in the cab of you car, some web sight have sound files you can listen too, So be sure before you buy cause you don,t want to be disappointed after the fact.
ya thats why im trying to do my research...i want to b satisfied...and ya i can handle the sound...i could live off of that sound but would and x/h pipe b worth the money?
thats on sale when its not on sale its 570 and by the time u do ur research n if u want that its gonna be too late for sale price then u add the x pipe and then its bout 315 at the least cuz u need catted x pipe cuz off road is illegal
total will be bout 885 with out installation soo u honestly should stick with the y pipe and just buy a v6 system

im not worried about the money..plus ill install it myself...i might b young but i know a lot about cars..plus my older brother has a v8 h pipe magnaflow no mid pipe...he would help me too...his is just beastly as heck
magnaflow will not get you any more power than flowmaster. ive actually heard the opposite, flowmaster is the way to go for 3.8L motors. ive heard amazing things about flowmaster 40's.
an H pipe will have a deeper sound. an X pipe will net a few more ponies.
