If the new RS makes it to the states, I would never call it a ricer but rather probably bow down before it. That car is sweet, even though it's not a Mustang and doesn't have 8 cylinders.
Everyone has their own personal tastes on what they like on their car and I don't see any reason to judge someone because theirs differ from my own.

add some neon underglow, an autozone exhaust tip, colorful wiperblades, chrome hubcaps, some 3M stick-on "vents", and some sweet NOS stickers, and then you have yourself a prime example of domestic rice.
of course, you can always take that stock focus and do some worthwhile mods to it, in order to make it faster, (function over form, of course) and then you have an example of what i refer to as a domestic tuner.

ive seen ricer mustangs, so yes, a focus can be considered rice if the "right" (wrong!!!!!) mods are done to it

I'd take an ST.... Stupid Ford gives all the good cars to Europe... The Focus can be played with and still be tasteful. I personally own one. I love driving it. I think that it handles very, very well. I'm gonna get flamed for this, but in the aspects of grip driving, I think that the focus handles better than a stang. (Before you shoot me, I own 2 stangs and have worked on and driven many more). It isn't the fastest thing I've ever driven, but it gets good mileage, and is really a lot of fun to drive.
