Default can we change the v6 forums ?

Just change it to 6 cylinder forums or add another forum for the straight 6 guys and the 2.8 guys ? Because I dont think they have anywhere to post . Good Idea ? What do you think ?

Good point Jason. We have been considering making some changes to our forums and will include that as part of it. In each Mustang forum where we now have a lounge and tech forum, we are considering removing the tech sub forums and moving all of the posts into the main forum. ie: classic forums now have a lounge and tech sub forums. We would move all of the posts contained in the classic tech sub forum and move them up a level into the classic mustang forum. That way when you click into the classic mustang forum you would see the claasic lounge sub forum along with all of the tech posts, instead of a separate tech sub forum.

Long winded but I hope I explained it well enough to outline the concept. What do you think?

I just spoke with Scott at lenght about this forum, and I completely agree that this section does need a name change.

I also suggested that he gets ride of the "V" since there are inline 6 cyclinders.

What models are inline 6 cylinders?

And maybe we could change it to 3.8L instead?

I have an 82 Mustang with an inline 6 cylinder. It is a 3.0 liter I do believe

The stang never had the 144, used the 170 only in the early 65 production run, the 200 from 65-69, the 250 69-73, and brought back the 200 in 81 and 82 as a 3.3L

i know that, that's why i included the comets as well, they had the 144
(and rancheros as well... but those are basically comets with a bed...)

EDIT: oh yeah... let's not forget the "big" sixes
240ci and 300ci engines, mainly found in trucks and vans, but a few big cars as well

The easiest way to change this would be call the forum "6 Cylinder Fords" and have the "Lounge" and "Tech" sub forums. That would make moving the noted topics easier to the appropriate sub-forum.
