Default Help with first mods??

well lets see personally i have used them and i seen the difference.

screamin demon coil pack- $100 very noticable mod.
8.5 wires and plugs just to go along with the coil.
rear gears if u want something to keep good highway rpms do 3.55 rear gears or if u want more do 3.73s. trac lok rear diff.
k&n filter beats any cai kit. bigger throttle body but porting the intake would help lots.

not much i can think of but if u did those maybe a good 10hp increase. and with gears feels like alot more.

just save up and get a performence kit from supersixmotorsports.com

I'd look into things in the following order: gears, t-lock, a true dual exhaust, tuner, and a cai. You could also look into nitrous oxide, but you don't have that power all the time. That's about as far as you can go power-wise without dropping in beaucoups and beaucoups of money. Past that, maybe engine work like a port and polish or a cam, or maybe forced induction. By the way, the gears and t-lock won't add power; they simply get you into the power band quicker and help you get power to the ground.

o yes i did forget to say a dual exhaust setup. i had it on mine and it sounded good with a nice bang in performence. about the tuners someone told me they dont really do much unless u have more mods done?

and persnally nos is ok but i would never run it on my motor only causei dont want my motor to crap out on my running stoick internals.

I wouldn't go with more than a 75 shot on the nos so you don't blow the engine. The tune will give you more with the more mods you have, but it still will give you a nice little boost in power on a stock car.

i got a whole headers back setup made with 21/2 inch pipe. cheap high flow cats and got the mac kit online for 310 bucks. so around 500 i would say with a shop doing the install.

Make sure you get rid of the y pipe when you get your dual exhaust. I have the flowmasters 40s and I like them, but they may be a bit overused. The best thing to do is to do a little youtubing to find out what YOU like.

Well, who's going to be looking under your car to see if you have flows? If you like the sound, that's all that matters.

I have a friend who has a show car and has won many titles. He has a chrome muffler from a brand that I've never heard of. He has yet to find a judge to look under the car to see that baby.
