Default Thinking of Rocker Panel Stripes..

Hey guys, I am thinking of maybe getting some rocker stripes in gloss black, but not sure how they'd look on a Mineral grey mustang.

Does anyone have pics of what this would look like?

Thanks in advance!

Well I like my Rocker panel fader stripes they are a little different and unique which is what I was looking for, I think they would look good in any color IMO. I got them from express graphics .com.

well i have them on my silver mustang.. its not quite the same but maybe u can imagine the color being a little darker and seeing how it would be.. i think the black stripes on the dark grey would be pretty cool .. it wont stand out i dont think as much as it does on my car but i think thatd be the point.. the subtle black lines with the dark grey.. i think it would turn out pretty nice

Thanks for your replies! and yeah those do look good on your car . Hmm, I may just be persuaded in getting those. Just curious, how difficult did you find them to put on?

um well they werent difficult.. just they take a long time to do if you want them done correctly.. i had a little trouble figuring out how to get them on..

what i did was just stick the entire thing on the side of the car, made sure it was nice and soapy and wet(maybe i used windex i dont really remember..) to make it stay and then let it mostly dry before pulling the waxpaper backing off of it(its stuck on pretty good).. and then you can just slice where the door edges are and wrap them around the edge but definitely plan out how youre going to put them on before you stick them on..

it may be a good idea to do each part in sections like in front of the door, on the door, and behind the door separately im not entirely sure myself what would be the best way to do it.. but its up to you.. the effort was definitely worth it.. it has such a distinct look now.. just be sure to get EVERYTHING off of the surface before you do it.. like no specks of dirt or dust or anything.. basically just pay attention as youre putting them on.. and take your time
