I've made personal history today. I was revved at for first time today.
I was leaving work and was at the three way intersection. I am in the alley perpendicular to the through road. In the turn lane of the through road, I spy a silver 1980's Porsche 944. Inside there is a young guy, my age or so, and a young lady (a girlfriend?). The car is dirtier than mine and fairly beat up. I see the guy looking at me and doing the "uh hu" nod. *BRRRMMMBAAAAA!!!!TWEETT!* It obviously has a turbo and blow-off valve. I've been minding my own business, eyes ahead at the light. He does it several times more, so I can't help but look. When we make eye contact, he revs and bounces off the limiter.
Now for the best part. His girlfriend slugs him with a lot of force. I see him mouth "ow" and her mouth "F--- off!"
By this time the light turned green and I made my left turn, being sure to floor it when I was equal to him, making my dual Flowmasters growl. I could see he was staring straight ahead, avoiding eye contact, and his girlfriend in the angry, arms crossed position.
Sigh... Anyone else have a slow day?

lol she was probably in the middle of talking to him and smacking him over that. Fortunatly most female friends I have realize that when I hear a rumble I look. . .doesn't matter if your the doctor telling me I've got a week to live. I WILL LOOK!

I have a 99 mustang v6, true duel flowmaster set-up and a few aggressive exterior mods, but I also own a 1983 Porsche 944, and I would say that 90% of the time people always rev thier car at me when I am in the Mustang... I don't think it is because they think they have a better chance of winning, because my Porsche is older than dirt, but I think that when people see a Mustang I think it makes them angry..... Like "hey... look at that jerk enjoying america's pony car, he thinks he's soooo mighty... well I will show him the true power of this Toyota Carolla! I have a bolt on tin can exhaust tip after all... he doesn't stand a chance!"

i live in texas and most of the time when people rev at me i look over and its a newer truck, just get a few inches in front and let them think they are fast lol then i have to leave them, but there are some pretty fast trucks out there like a blacked out silverado with black rims and drag radials that said something in red on the side, maybe a special edition or something idk?

oh lol and i raced a 02 and down camaro Z28 at a red light in town up to 50 or so and beat him by a good car length? then like a mile down the road he catchs up to me and flippes me off and turns around lol he rev'ed at me first so idk what his problem was he didn't spin his tires or anything and i could hear his engine roaring as louder than mine, the only thing is i used my low gears 1, 2 then D instead of just D... oh and was his gf hot or not? lol
