Okay, so I have true dual exhaust, cai, and a tuner for performance. I also have rims and a few other exterior things. My mustang is going to have to be my daily driver until I get out of college. Then it will be a weekend car as I will be in the family business and in a company vehicle most of the time. My question is what should I do next? I don't have a ton of money to put toward the stang at this point, but I've been bit by the mod bug. FI is way out of the price range; I still need to save something. I've been considering getting lowering springs, but I don't want it to ride really rough as it is my dd. I've also consedered gears, but with gas going up and having to drive this thing every day, I'm not sure that's such a good idea. Spray is a possibility. I've also considered a few more exterior things, but I'm not exactly sure of what I like and don't want to get on the ricer road. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
gears wont kill your gas mileage unless you do alot of highway driving. 4.10s will really bring out your torque if u have an auto. lowering springs wont make it feel like a lowrider either. but not sure what u would want to do on the exterior. a whole body kit or maybe hood or bumpers? side exhaust??
Hadn't thought of that. I checked AM and they didn't have them. Any idea where I could get that for a 03 v6? How hard are they to put in? What kind of gains could I expect? Thanks.

No body kit for me! Already took care of the exhaust for the time being. A chin spoiler and maybe a gt bumper will be enough there. I'm just trying to decide if I should black out the lights, paint the calipers, etc.

IDK were you could get them but they are very easy to install. But for the alternator pulley you would need a air impact to take off the bolt
You should expect somewere between 5-7hp but im pretty sure you will feel it as did I
How about a Windstar intake and a t-lock? The t-lock will be coming out of a drag car we're building and I have an extra Windstar intake and TB. You can come down after we start building it, and we can put them in for you.
You can check out our shop and see what V6's can really do.....
I've seen your son's 10 second video. Pretty impressive to say the least. Around how much do you want for that. Guess that's probably better to discuss through a pm.
Ok lowering springs, like the Eibach Pro kit wont make your ride really rough. You will be able to tell a slight difference, but unless you are a pasny it shouldnt bother you. I had the same concerns, and there is nothing to worry about.
I will list my mods from most effective to least.
Power:
4.10 Gears
Tune (Justin from VMP)
25% UDP
CAI
Drivibility:
Springs + shocks/struts
Subframe connectors

Yeah, I was kinda wanting to get some of the suspension squared away and then maybe do some more work when it stops being my dd. I have a friend who does a full suspension upgrade (shocks, struts, springs, control arms, the works) on almost every car he owns. His wife hates him for it because she has to drive one of his cars on a daily basis. But, as long as it won't hurt drivability, springs will be on my short term mod list.
Okay, thanks. One more thing I'll be getting soon. Say, does anyone know what exactly are the benefits to a windstar intake? Maybe I should start a separate thread on it.
The Windstar intake is made of plastic. Therefore it doesn't heat up as much as the original metal intake. Less heat=more power.
I'm sure there is more to it than that but, this all that I know currently. Shinerstang please chime in.
