Ive waited over a month for my parts for american muscle to arrive do to not having them in stock..i missed a few shows bcuz of it but no biggie stuff happens.
Got the new 3:73 gears in and posi rear set up installed but for it sitting so long i believe somthing got inside the exhaust and had a nest or somthing bcuz once i finished the rearend i drove away and flames shot out the exhaust like a flame thrower kinda cool but not lol however i do have the exhaust cut off after the cats and one of the cats has a hole in it...could there be another problem besides my idea of a nest ?
i havent torn it apart yet just looking for clues...maybe fuel ? i smelt gas when i popped the hood but i never smelt it before i parked it ?
kinda lost on this one. guess i'll have to tear it apart to find out....thanks

Check your intake as well. If you are dumping gas into a cylinder, that would be the smell. Start it up, and let it warm up. Spray, or sprinkle, some water on each header tube to see if they are getting hot. That would show they are firing. Then, shut your car off and see if any of the headers tubes are glowing......
