Default My pony will not awaken!!!

OK, I really don't know what happened!
Friday evening: When I started my car, I noticed that all my needles jumped from max to zero... I figured that my battery was about to go dead and needs to be changed soon, but I had changed it about 7 months ago and I had to go to work!

Saturday morning: My car started with no problem... went home to sleep (actually forgot about what happened earlier).

Saturday late afternoon: Woke up, started the car with no problem... drove to put fuel in my car at Sunoco (turned off car when filling).
Now, after filling, I turned the key and noticed that the needles jumped again!! But now, my car won't start at all!!! No clicking, not even the electrical components would turn on!!! Jump starting didn't do anything. I checked all my fuses and even my fuel switch in my trunk!
In stead of towing my car, I had left it there till monday for the mechanic at Sunoco.
Did anyone have the same problem where the car won't start at all not even electrical? Please, I need help with this one, I'm stuck without a car!!!!

Well, i don't really know what happened! As a side note, I managed to roll up my window after waiting a few minutes from when the problem started. Immediately after that everything did not work again. Now i gotta wait till monday to just get it by the mechanic! I HOPE the problem is cheap! I don't feel like shelling $$$ at this time. ust a thought... If it were the battery, is there a fuse for the battery?

that sounds like corroded battery terminals...no connection at all if the car just "clicks"...clean them and the battery posts, that should get you going again

Even though you bought your battery a few months back there is a chance it was not a good battery. Hope you get everything taken care of.

sounds like just a bad battery.. each time you started the car you used up most of the charge but most of the time it had some time to recover between starting.. since you went to the gas station you had to start it again pretty quickly after you had last started it so it didnt really recover.. same thing with your window.. sounds like a bad battery to me

OK, you all were pretty much right!! It was the battery!!!! It must have drained completely! That never happened to me before... at least not like that!
Last nite at around 9:30 pm,, I had went and bought a cheap battery called Everlast from Wallmart as a temporary battery. Never heard of this brand, but for a Sunday evening, this was the only store open that had car batteries.
Thanks to you all, I don't have to call out of work today.
Thanks all!!!

yeah dont forget to check your alt and fuses. You could have a short somewhere as well draining the battery.
