Of what I've read up on the subject, the standard ford racing drive shaft will work, but you'll have to swap the aluminum yoke for the stock yoke. heres a link
Speed Concepts - M-4602-G - Aluminum Driveshaft for 1979-1995 Mustang/GT/Cobra 5.0L V8 and 1994-2004 3.8L V6

Now does it matter if my transmission is automatic or manual?
Mine's an automatic.

The only difference between the manual and auto is the size of the input yoke on the
tranny . Auto's have a larger shaft.......

So, does that mean it won't fit or that I'll have to make some sort of modification?
Sorry haha, I'm kind of slow and not too knowledgeable about cars .
