so you think your gonna drop a half second with just gears?
seems like alot to ask, but you have to get used to launching again it will be a little different but i cant see .5 off your 1/4 with gears

its about the traction. if u get a good launch maybe i dont see it being impossible to do a half second. i mean ur going from a one tire fire which i had and if i had track it would have been alot faster.

Just a note guys, he went from 2.73 gears to 3.73 gears here.
That is quite the improvement.

Does the T-Lok work well in the 8.8?
I think it may be possible to touch 15.90's. Practice driving it with the new set-up. What tires are you gonna be running?

+1 guys. It better be in the 15's......
I think something else is holding you back. I guess we need to revisit this once you get back from the track with new times.....

i went from 2.73 to 3.73 in my 88
you shift alot faster i could bury my 85 speedo in 3rd with the old gears, now with the calibrated 160mph gauge and 3.73 im shifting into 4th at 100mph so your gonna lose that top end./

ohhh sorry yall i forgot...
First timeslip i didnt foot brake it.
Second timeslip i revved it up to 1500 (foot brake) and got like 4 hundredths difference, i think if i would of revved a little bit higher i would of probably seen high 15's. I might be hitting up the track again sometime soon but probably go on a wed or friday so i could get more runs and learn a little bit better on how to lauch (It took me almost an hr to get my second run)
Now that i have the tlok i now i could at least rev a little bit past 2000
Im on the left lane on both timeslips
http://i664.photobucket.com/albums/v...thetrack-1.jpg
also just to let yall know...I got the same 60 foot time from the last time i went to the track without the gears
(sumthing has to be wrong with my
tranny )
http://i664.photobucket.com/albums/v...atthetrack.jpg
difference was 0.3853 from my old ET
