Should I go ahead and get a K and N CAI, SCT xcal3 tuner, mach 1 grill delete, and mach 1 chin spoiler. Or go with new gears, 3.73 or 4.10, a ford racing 7.5 posi, SCT xcal 3 tuner, and K and N CAI? And if I do gears, that's probably gonna void the warranty, right? Any opinions will be much appreciated.

I would start out with the 4.10 gears and posi. K&N CAI's are overrated. I had one on my 04 3.9l auto and it did nothing. I bought a $70 CAI from american Muscle for my 04 3.8L 5 spd and I can actually notice the difference. When I get off of my deployment I am going to buy 4.10 gears and posi first. Then:an aluminum driveshaft, clutch, fly wheel, tuner, etc...
I hope this helps you out.
I would go with option 2. If the gears crap out for some reason, ford won't warranty it but if you didn't cause it, i would take it back to the shop that installed them.

Yeah, i was thinking the gears/t lock option would pack a little more punch, but would i need to rebuild my rear end? like get a bearing kit? And im worried about gas mileage.. Some ppl say 4.10 drain gas on the highway, but ill be driving mostly around town. So will the 3.73's be enough without killing my wallet at the pump, plus i was thinking about getting an SCT xcal 3 tuner with some custom tunes so 93 octane, with gears that kill my gas mileage dont really sound too appealing to me..

From what I've noted of many threads. Just around town your cars estimated MPG wont change at all. Though keep in mind you are making your mustang faster, and we all succumb to pushing it harder when we get new toys and THAT is what will kill your fuel milage.

Yeah I know.. Haha. Well from what I read and here gears, t lock, and tune are the most effictive mods ppl can do to their v6's. So I'm thinking the 3.73's to play it safe with the occational highway miles and a 7.5 t lock since I'm not going f/i or supercharging my car. I'm also gonna need a tune (sct x cal 3, $380 from AM) so I'm hoping I can get everything for under 1200. Is that reasonable?
