im new to the site. i have 94 convertible. it was sitting for about 4 months before i got it running. it had the tranny rebuilt then the alternator went out and just got it fixed yesterday however, the car will start fine then hesitate and turn off, if i give it some gas it wont do die. and i just saw that there is a little bit of smoke coming from the back part of the motor, wonder if any one can help me out

It could be anything from clogged cats, to a clogged fuel pump.......

you sure it was only sitting for 4 months?

if it was longer than that, you probably have stale gas in the tank.

Need your help! I have a 1996 Mustang v6 3.8L. the car will start fine then hesitate and turn off after a while or when I give it gas, I have replaced the following Mass Air Flow sensor, Replaced the fuel filter, tuned it up, put a new kn air filter but the problem is still there. Any takes?
