Default DIY Catback question...

As of now im running catless, dual flowmasters ( 94 v6 ) hating the ricer type sound in high rpms i hear wonders of a catback. My question is how many converters would i need to get my rumble back? I figured 2 would make it raspy.

uh... so you have a cat-less catback right now? why not just put 'em back on?

as of now my exhaust is like this..

-------------------[ ]
-------------------[ ]

-- ( being the pipe ) [ ] ( being the muffler )

the car had dual exhaust when i already bought it, but one of the cats got stopped up so i cut all 4 off. what my question is, would doing a catback ( home made ) with 2 converters bring back some rumble or be raspy?

what is throwing me off on my self answer is i thought a stock stang with 4 converters was due to emissions.. at idle just with mufflers sounds almosted cammed? but when moving its a dry raspy.

lol your lingo's all messed up.. catback refers to basically all the piping behind your midpipe(and cats) so its just pipe, mufflers and tips.. if u put 2 catalytic converters on there you would get rid of(somewhat) that raspy ricer-ey sound you're hating
