Stock for now. Two GT take off muffler, connected to a GT H-pipe.Upgrade instrument cluster. Shorty antenna. GT rear bumper. GT side skirts. GT front and rear sway bars. So many GT parts, and still a V6 engine. Damn. 18 inch Deep Dish Black rims, with polish lip. 255 front, 275 rear, soon changed to 285.
I work in Body shop and i seen this a few times. Some body shops might not tackle it but if they do what they have to do is cut out the whole quarter panel and weld a new once out. Its a lot of work and issurance would total that mustang out cause the condition.
Looks like it did it's job in taking the hit instead of your son. I'm sure he's upset. Looks like he was t boned. When I was seventeen a drunk druggie ran into my prized 68 camaro and did very similar damage. Initially the cops went after the kid in the hot camaro until they she slurred into the conversation.

My son is doing pretty well. He does have some neck and back pain that he has seen a doctor about and we are just waiting to see if it continues.
The insurance is deciding "liability" because the officer did not issue citations. The guy in the pickup that hit him made a left turn exit out of an entrance only drive without clear vision to see if anyone was coming and hit him. It seems that liability is pretty clear.

wow ya!? I'd get a lawyer involved if you haven't already
What that means is as soon as the two cruisers showed up they started off by being very harsh with me. I was just seventeen with a hopped up camaro. I'm sure I fit a stereotype of a young hotrodder that let my ride get out of control. I told them I was hit and it wasn't my fault. They didn't seem to take me serious until they called her over to interview. She was incoherent and unable to speak without slurring. She was drunk and taking painkillers while driving with her two unbuckled, un child seated children. Less than a minute after her first words Child Protective Services were being called and she was headed for jail. The cops didn't give me any flack after that.
