Default Some opinions on a mustang

Well this mustang would be my first car. and im trying to get some opinions and help since I dont have many people to ask opinions on so i figured i would ask here.

Its a 2004 v6 5 speed manual. 48k miles
The body is fine except for a little rust spot, a little paint chip, and a little dent and scratch on the door( can fix that stuff myself) . the rims seem like they are starting to have some corrosion. little crack in windshield, that could be something needing to be fixed in future. (it looked like it was just the size of the smileys teeth. and starting to spread. )

Under it their is some rust from sitting, looks like some things will need to be replaced soon as in shocks. interior is fine. Number 4 button on stereo broke though (but is workable)

their is a oil pan leak, and gasket needs to be replaced. that part is still under warranty though so he said he is going to get that fixed at ford dealer ship. then there is some clutch/gear problems that the mechanic noticed when taking for a drive. breaks are good, but the cars fluids were not good and break fluid needed flushed and changed.

(found out most of this stuff after getting a mechanic to inspect it)
Before knowing about the gasket needing replaced and oil pan leaking i was going to pay 6000.

What do you think is a reasonable price for this mustang after gasket is fixed and oil pan?

Keep looking, find a car that is perfect and spend a little more if you have to...scour Ebay and Craigslist and the newspaper...make low offers, in this economy cash is king and it's buyers market.

Agreed! For the price they'll want you can get one probably close to mint condition with Nothing you need to fix yourself
