hey everyone i am thinking about buying the american muscle cold air intake for 75 bucks and i was wonder if anyone has had this on their car before and is its the same or better/worse then the BBK C.A.I. i have also heard about a discount code and was wondering if i could get help with that....any comments are appreciated so please say your opinion. thanks

american muscle cai is exactly the same as the bbk in terms of performance and function.. the discount code.. i cant give you.. u must PM AMnick.. find the american muscle thread somewhere and you'll find him .. only he can give it to you

Ive got one on my 95 GT. I think it works great! I manly got it for fuel consumption. I can notice a small difference in the fuel. But u cant feel a thing performance wise.

definitely worth it though.. helps your engine breathe a little better.. and with a dual exhaust it would be even better

ya im getting a custom magnaflow dual exhaust and an x-pipe in December and now a cai... thanks for the input... helped a lot

it will fit fine.. since u have the 04 u will probably have to plug the hole in the middle of the uppermost pipe that was left for the IAT sensor on 02 and earlier stangs.. just as a heads up so you dont have any unmetered air entering the engine that could cause problems

Yea its a great cai its gives the stock exhaust a throatier sound. its well worth the $80 power increase is noticeable. gas mileage is a little different. it does make a weird suctioning sound when u start the car though
