Default Happy Birthday to me! (Wheels)

Seeing as my birthday is coming up in less than two weeks (the 26th) I decided to splurge a bit.
I picked these up off of Craigslist for $400. Four 17x9" Bullitts off a 2004 GT (supposedly. The offset came out to 24mm so, they should fit right). They have some scuff and dents, but so does my car. The tires are good Kumho 255-45/17 summer tires. There are two spare Pirelli tires which are okay. Last, I got a full set of locking lugs and two 1/4" spacers. I'm going to run the Kumhos until next spring. Then I am going to put on some new Hankooks or BFGood summer tires. Do you think I did good for four bills?

You did great, the only bullitt rims (original, dished, etc) I've seen on Kijiji/Craigslist around here are almost 1k

Keep looking. I checked twice a day on four local cities for two months until I found these.

Would you guys believe I managed to fit all six of those in the car. BTW my mom was with me too. She wanted to take her truck to get them, but I wanted to see how they looked next to my car. Not my smarted decision, but I did it. They guy I bought it off of was cracking up watching us try and get them wrangled in.

Very nice wheels/tires at a cost-friendly price. I'd change those center caps though.

I've been thinking about getting some new ones to put in. I'm not sure what though.
American Muscle has some, leaning toward the brushed aluminum ones or the black flaming M's.

I saw those on the AM site. I think those would look HOT on your new bullitt wheels.

When I bought my replacement front bumper off craigslist, i made it fit in my car. i pulled the rear seats down. it fit nicely in the trunk, backseat, and the passenger seat.

I'm now between the flaming M's and a set of black SVT center caps. Would be it be too taboo to put SVT badges on my V6. I'm not one to claim it is something that it is not. It's not a Cobra badge just a Special Vehicle Team badge.

I think you should go for it! I had chrome Cobra-R center caps on my 17s before I bought the chrome 20s. Regarding authenticity & misrepresentation through badging, I think wheels & center caps are the exception. It'd be the same as simply having a Cobra hood & front fascia but without the fender badges and/or Cobra grille...both harmless & legit. "No foul".
