Default Head Gasket Question

I got my heads decked and pressure tested. However the Gasket I bought has metal in the middle and black on the outside. I was told no sealent is required I just put the gasket in and torque it?

ya the torque specs is easy part. I bought the Big 3 Gaskets and people told me u dont use any type of sealent. If say the head bolts were torqued at 135 on eevery bolt, I guess that could create a sealent right?

Crap, I hope you didn't start this yet. 135ft lbs? Stock head bolts need to be torque to yield. I just use 75ft lbs as a guide, I hate TTY......

torque to yield... all i know about them is that you use them once and then you need new ones.. not sure why.. that might mean they stretch as you tighten them but im not sure
