american muscle doesn't sell underdrive pullies for the v6 mustangs (any of them) you'll have to buy them elsewhere

They seem a little expensive for the amount of performance they supposedly provide. Frankly, I'm planning on avoiding these, especially given the fact that it can leave accessories annoyingly underpowered.

Do a google search for 'mustang underdrive pulley'. I did it once and it brought up at least one other website that sells them for the V6 - so they're definitely out there.

They basically suck, your car will runner hotter and the alternator slower which will kill it quicker...might be good for a drag car but for a daily driver I'd avoid them.

You don't fix the problems, it's just a trade off. The goal of the UDP is to cause those problems, so to speak, because by doing so it creates a slight increase in power to your wheels.

I'm getting them for my car, and I DO plan on driving it daily. Although I have yet to install mine, many others have done this mod to their daily driven cars and have very few if any problems. If you go with a good brand (Steeda, ASP) and don't go over 25% reduction, its unlikly you will experience significant issues. If you are concerned about electrical, then I would suggest not upgrading to a really powerful sound system and even better yet, tune your car do idle at 1000rpms. That would certainly get the charge high enough. Lastly, overheating may be a problem, but once again, many on this forum who have done this mod claim to have never experienced overheating.
