I'm getting them for my car, and I DO plan on driving it daily. Although I have yet to install mine, many others have done this mod to their daily driven cars and have very few if any problems. If you go with a good brand (Steeda, ASP) and don't go over 25% reduction, its unlikly you will experience significant issues. If you are concerned about electrical, then I would suggest not upgrading to a really powerful sound system and even better yet, tune your car do idle at 1000rpms. That would certainly get the charge high enough. Lastly, overheating may be a problem, but once again, many on this forum who have done this mod claim to have never experienced overheating. |
