Question Interior :: Carbon Fiber OR Painting

So what do you think would look better on a grey interior. The carbon fiber dash trim or painting different pieces to match the car's color, Atlantic Blue?

Or if you have a stick get the Mach 1 silver pieces. I don't know if they will work on an auto. The silver would go well with the blue car. Some people might think the carbon fiber is "ricey." Personally, I like it. I would be nervous about paint. If you can do it well, go for it. I suck at painting.

I don't know that silver would look good with a grey interior.

Crap, you're right about the silver/grey. It might not look good. I read too quickly and figured it was just the dark interior. To clear the carbon fiber issue, I love the look, sticking a big carbon fiber piece over plastic interior surfaces seems kinda silly. The whole point of carbon fiber is to lighten things up, not adding weight. It does look cool though. Like I said, I like the look, but some people might not.

Well, the real carbon fiber pieces cost 2 grand. They take the stock pieces and wrap em in carbon fiber. I don't have that much cash to throw around on the interior. For 2 grand I can afford my body kit.

So, it just decieding would I rather want blue pieces or pieces that have the carbon fiber trim. I'm just worried about the trim pieces peeling off. But, I'm sure the paint would to.

Choices. Choices.

.::EDIT::.

The Real Carbon Fiber Pieces

Painted Interior (Just think blue.)

The carbon fiber sticker pic doesn't work, but I wouldn't worry about the 3M stuff peeling off. It lasts and is really strong. But if you can do a good job painting, that would be something that stands out more than carbon fiber.
