i have a 2000 3.8L automatic v6 mustang and i want to remove my cats and put a cam on. How much would a cam for my car cost normally?? Doesnt have to be exact. just an estimate would be appreciated.

Plan on at least $350.00. Supersixmotorsports can hook you up with a decent cam. Other than that, you'll need gaskets and time to install it. Make sure you tell him that you want to use your stock rockers and pushrods-if that is what you're planning on doing. Tell him Mr. Shine sent you. Please make sure you have the money in hand when you call him. He gets a million phone calls from people who just want info, and who were not going to purchase anything, and it takes up all his time for real customers. I know that is business, but he deserves respect too......

I Would Suggest Doing Heads As Well You Will Notice A Huge Difference...But If You Just Want To Do A Cam Depends On What You Want The Cam To Do...The Price That Shinerstang Said Is About Right...But You can Go From Mild To Wild.... Super Six Is good I Hear..And Theres Also Morana racing.

I have got to agree with shines but be sure the cam you get can be used with stock valve springs unless you want to upgrade them
