i want to get flowmaster super 44s on a 3.8 v6 01 auto trans and i want to get an o/r h or x pipe havent decided on custom or not and i just want to know about the catalytic x or h pipes what is different from just an h or x pipe does that mean that you have to or dont have to take the cats off

you can buy a catless version of each, as well as a catted version.

x pipe is more a raspy or raw sound, h pipe is more a throaty mustang muscle sound.
