i want to get a new exhaust system. so mid pipes conversion kits mufflers the actual pipes, true duals, divorced duals, duals what ever else there is, could some one explain to me what i need to do and what all of this is

ok, what exactly are you looking for in sound? throaty or raspy?

unfortunatly, v6's dont make the same sounds as v8's therefore, my catless h pipe on your car would sound totally different then on mine.

if you are required by state to have cats, expect to see mild losses in HP (5-10) under a catless version. as well as a quieter, more restricted sound.

if you live in a "catless state" as i like to call them, (no emissions inspections) expect to see a decent horsepower increase (10-15),

some websites boast !!22HP!! on a stock mustang, but we all know thats just a sales gig. MAYBE 22 with a proper tune and headers.

i have heard some v6's that sound pretty decent though, flowmaster is your best option if you want to make those sounds.

i went online and found an awesome exhaust for your mustang, it converts your single exhause into duals, as well as removing all 6 cats. ive heard it in person and i must say, sounds pretty good.

Ok if I got the kit that you mentioned could I put like slp or Borla or flowmaster mufflers on it or would it make it sound bad

id leave the pypes mufflers on it if u bought the kit and maybe if you find that you definitely dont like them sell em later on and get other mufflers

no slp or borla.. they dont sound good on v8 or v6, to loud and not enough deep mustang sound.
