That's the exhaust. I didn't really wanna go all out, because I felt bad enough even spending $160 on this upgrade (I'd rather save money than go balls out on the exhaust, is all). So I just had the muffler shop weld on some Magnaflow catback pipes.
It's pretty modest, but I don't normally do things like touch anything underneath the hood, or that arts-and-crafts crap like putting on vinyl stickers, so I'm proud of having done all of this - except the exhaust - on my own (with and extra hand or two from my roommate). It's not much, but it really makes this car mine...I'm sure y'all know what that's about.
I've got a 14" antenna on the way, and after that I've got a few performance parts to put in (gears, headers, tune) and then I'm gonna work on paying it off early.
that's one of my favorite colors for a new edge 'stang...besides blue of course !

As far as my girlfriend goes, she just likes to insult my car in order to express how annoyed she is that I didn't buy some fuel efficient mid sized or sub-compact or something boring like that. When I told her I had some exhaust work done, she just sighed and said, "Normally people fix their exhaust to make it quieter." Which is the ultimate expression of how little she understands about people who choose to own sports cars.
Maybe she'll change her mind after I teach her how to drive stick in my car?
