There is a savings in rotational mass, but you will make out better with the flywheel and driveshaft combo.

I recently put one in the '01 along with a TKO tranny. I can't notice much of a difference, but I also went up a bit in rotational mass with the TKO. But it was severely needed in my case, and will definitely be needed in the future.....

driveability is a little better, accelerates a little quicker.

it's a good bit lighter than the stock piece.
