Exclamation 94 mustang take off slow

i have a friend with a 94 v6 and its stick shift. he just bought it from his cousin but when he first had it everything was fine and now when he starts taking off its super slow even if he puts the gas pedal to the floor its slow at take off and the rpms do move though. we think it has to deal with the brakes but not too sure any imput? after a few seconds though, it will take off but he said his brother took it yesterday and with every gear it did the same thing

Just had a Saturn in the shop doing the same thing. The cat converter was plugged.

im not the most experienced but if it does accelerate in every gears then maybe the clutch is bad??

I know when we took the tranny out of the lambo to do the clutch driving it too the garage was pretty annoying.

Got a stage 3 in it now though and that seems to be ok.

Just my $.00000002
