a friend of mine just got an 2003 audi with 150k miles. hes been down talking m mustang saying hel smoke me with no problem. hes been driving stick for a week and its bone stock. i have true dules, a Cai, and a stage one clutch, and nice tires. also been driving stick for 3years will i have any problems if i decide to race him.

dude those audis are fast as shiz and if its the 3.0 then its faster than the 1.8t. a mustang gt of the same year would have a tough time and probably lose. so yeah i think it might be kinda difficult to beat him, hate to say it.

If it is an S4 with Quattro then he should win without too much effort. The A6 is a bit bigger and heavier but again with Quattro it will launch without wheelspin and should win.

Stock HP is around 220 and they are built to rev higher. Audi makes some serious cars, I'd have to say you are gonna have to hope he stalls if you want to win.

Either way, he won't totally blow your doors off, but he should win.

220hp, 221 ft lbs of torque, and a 30v valve train...and a badass 6 speed...

the only hiccup is its 3462 lbs. curb weight...that that wont be much of a hindrance for it. Yeah Audi is a Serious performance builder out the gate and nothing to take lightly.

not saying that the mustang is a complete pushover...its not at all...its just two different car in two different leagues...gotta remember that audi was popin close to 45K new...so a little perspective needs to be seen here.

To be honest, I think you have this. Audi barely has you in power (if at all if you have mods) and you should out-torque him which is what really counts. You also weigh less, and despite the fact that he has quattro, you should make it up in skill. I think its safe to say that you are $10 richer man!
