This was a very exciting day for me. I've never gotten to drive on a strip before, so strip launching is kind of a . . .it doesn't happen for me lol. I decided, what the hell, I was on an empty stretch of road and tried it. On previous tries, I just accelerated normal, no big deal. This time I must have hit everything right, it was so great. I let go of the car at 1400 RPM (1500 and the tires spin at idle) and just throttled it perfect. The front end actually went up, and stayed up! All the way till 50 mph where I had to let go (Speed Limit) and as I let off. . .it gargled! My stang felt so powerful


I know, it's kinda stupid, but I'll be honest. It was a really exciting thing for me

only let mine go a few times cuz shes kinda high mileage, and until we rebuild her i dont wanna bust anything.

I bought mine with 29k, and it was actually a certified pre-owned. I know my car was in a car club, but I still can't figure out which one. There is a smoked shadow in my back window from the sticker (It's racey looking so I don't mind)

So I feel confident in pushing pretty hard

Like when you watch a fast car go on the strip, you can tell when he lets off the throttle because the front end drops. In a high power car the front end lights under acceleration. By no means am I saying my car is "High power" but it's got at least enough to get me cooking. Yeah I meant it hooked and went. (I'm also used to gunning it on a highway on ramp (Uphill) so it's a nice change to actually see the cars power instead of being hindered by fighting a big arse hill.
