Gears are always good. 4.10 is what i recommend. It'll cost about 500 to get them and installed. By the way, you're not putting out 220 hp...

Do you have a full k&n intake or just the filter k&n is one of the best intakes out there another thing you could get is a hand held tuner i picked up about 20hp with mine. Ignition would be another possiblity like coils or pack which ever you have. Or you could really step it up and use some encouragment from a bottle in the trunk.

One Wheel Wounder= 2000 Mustang V6
Power: CAI, Pypes exhaust w/ off road x-pipe, Diablo Tuner, AMS Oil Fuilds, Tlok limited slip, 4.10 gears, Zex Spray w/purge(55 dry shot), Accel Ignition, MSD 8.5mm Wires
Apperance: Nexen High Performance Tires, GT Wheels 225/45/17-245/45/17, AEM wideband air/fuel ratio gauge, Oil pressure Gauge, HID Headlights

just like First5.0 said gears are always good, and if you have a manual 3.73 gears, but 4.10 for auto, and like he also said there is now way you are putting out 210 hp from a new filter and dual exhaust, you could also add a new midpipe like an x pipe for more horsepower if you dont already have one

I have right at 200hp in my car. and a new x pipe will only net you about 2hp maybe but it will make it sound alot better.

i have a bbk i like that. really felt the difference with it. if you wanted to spend a little more money say like 400ish you could do a windstar intake swap. thats what im doing over the winter (NH no use for a mustang in the snow)

Is a BBK filter and intake any good, like whats the HP gain from it and does it make my exhaust louder or deeper? cause its only like $180.00 for a V6

The one that American Muscle sells is just as good and half the price. PM AMNick for our discount.....

Quick upgrade and well worth the money as it is an equally greater tool that upgrade would be a programmer. I have a Diablo Predator programmer and would highly recommend it. Gives you plenty of more punch and the ability to really self diagnosis any situation; if you do get gears then you will already have the equipment to set your speedometer. It will be well worth the money imo to have this tool.

ps. Keeping in mind with you only being 16 and mentioning beating out civics and assuming this is the start of your driving experience, please keep it safe if you plan on making your car even faster than what it currently is. I live in Miami and have to see car wrecked sites every day(with crosses), everywhere from people of all ages. Just learn your car over time, trust me, it took me two spin outs and a couple years of driving mine and I still don't think I am fully adept in my mustang. Just saying play it safe and have fun man.

Getting taller gears and getting a posi installed on your stock 7.5" or swapping to a 8.8 rear end will give you a pretty big noticeable difference in stability and acceleration. Also, it wouldn't hurt getting a tuner as a combo.

I definitely felt a big difference after doing this, and it was definitely the biggest bang for my buck.

The exhaust and intake/midpipes I know gave me a little more "umph" but to be honest, it was more of a "in my head" kind of deal. My car sounded throatier/deeper and I love the sound of the CAI, but I'm sure they only translated to a little HP gain to the wheels! I didn't do the mistake of taking the manufacturer's HP numbers and just slapped it to my existing stock HP at the crank. (193+ Flowmaster's claimed 22 HP gain + MAC's Fenderwell CAI 5-10HP gain... etc. etc.)

Go Fast Bits:
8.8 Mach 1 Rear End Swap w/3.55 Gears, Custom Dual Exhaust w/Flowmaster 40 Mufflers/X Pipe/4" chrome tips, MAC Fenderwell CAI. Custom SCT Performance Tune, Upgraded brakes and rotors, Eibach Sport Springs, Tokico HP shocks and struts.
Look Fast Bits:
8000K HID Conversion Kit, 3000k hid fogs, Mach 1 Chin Spoiler, 10th Anniversary Black Cobra Wheels, Saleen 3 Piece Wing, Mach 1 GT Rear, GT QTR Scoops, Blacked Out Tail Lamps, Laminex "Tint" head lamps.
