ok, so i was sitting at the stop light in town. As the cars were going by, I saw this civic with it's pumped up exhaust, thinking he's so cool. I wanted to take off after him so badly, but that would have meant running the red light and dodging oncoming traffic. It was so hard watching, but then, i saw two other mustangs take off after him. YAY! Always a great feeling knowing two stangs are about to show him what real speed is.

Earlier today while getting on the freeway, I thought something was terribly wrong with my exhaust not realizing that some Neon with fart cannons was on my blind side trying to race me. I gave him the satisfaction easing up on the gas to get him in front of me then pass him with a fury (essentially left him within secs).
After a couple of miles, I slowed down only to hear him again this time with a smirk in his face probably thinking he finally caught me. He then floored his gas only to hear the backfire from his engine. I still don't get it why they spend so much money to mod those econo-rice cars where they could have bought something more potent if they wanted to race.

I hate 2 Full of Crap 2 Boring. Lamest movie ever!!. It was like watching an infomercal on Mistubishi. It all about the Evo and Eclipse. Ok, so the Evo has some potental cuz its an overhauled crappy Lance, but everyone knows the Eclipse is a peice of crap. I just like how they destroy all the American cars in the first run. THe Mustang gets runned over, the Corvette gets into a fender bender, forgot what happen to the Viper.

It's not really lame, those cars do eat us up for dinner. but, yeah why did all the american cars get run over?? but hey dont forget 2f2f had a lot of muscle in the end that ripped like hell and tfatf at the end that naturally aspirated chrager shitted all over that supra even after two nitro shots. it's not liek they were saying america has no speed. remember we taught the world the meaning of speed, they are just simple listeners and learners striving to follow in our footsteps. when I go down to E town a simple turbocharged civic with some decent engine upgrads/swaps would not take off as fast as us but defiently beat us without a challenge when it's turbos kicked in.
to sum up that day the ricers beat the **** out of domestics. a few domestics held their ground but that was it.
though we are looking at barely modded stangs vs heavily modded ricers. though my friends never understood that. I said the stangs had no mods and my friend unintellgently replies " SHut up Joe they had Cold air intakes and pullies...."

Anyway also where i live there is a kind of reality Fast and the Furious but more practical. Have about 500 cars illegally street race in this city, cant go there cops always bust it up. but from what the word is the mustangs are eating them all up. A saleen and an older one. but i hear now the supras are coming in and showing the meaning of speed. too bad my friends cuz should take his stang down 9 second 1/4 Naturall aspirated. fools.
but it's practical not lame, those lil ricers move. look at it this way a 2 liter civic producign 400 hp thats 200 hp a liter and a cobra producing 400 hp thats like 70 hp a liter. that's how nice those lil 4 bangers are. if they are modded correctly those lil "lame" ricers will kill us 8's and 6's My friends 2000 is lightly modded and he east me off the line like a ******* joke. but my stang isnt very much a racing car. Im sure when I get a GT i'll show them the true mustang spark
But dont underestimate them or call them lame. even the SRT4 Neon is nothing to poke fun at. any car can simply be fast, just need to know how to do it

The Viper just disappeared on the freeway (guess the didn’t have enough money in the budget to wreck it also!) I read somewhere that the original script had more domestics but then Mitsubishi paid an undisclosed amount for the American cars to get wasted and their vehicle to take the lime light.
And the crushed Saleen in 2F2F was a v-6 clone, not the actual Saleen. And for the record I never saw the movie until it came to HBO, I didn’t want to give any money to that crap outfit, and I actually fell asleep during the movie!

i actually enjoyed both movies, i guess because of the street racing. imports are fast cars. i mean did anyone read the motortrend issure where they raced all those exotics and also an svt cobra and an evo. you should see how close they were too each other and the evo was only putting out 273hp as opposed to 390 from the cobra. imports are extremely fast small engined cars. so why do i drive a mustang. because i love it. there is just no other car in the world that looks like it. i used to own a riced out honda integra, i mean benchpark wing, custom seats, gold colored 17' rims, all that good cosmetic ****. but it wasn't my kinda car, i didn't feel satisfied. so i sold it and kept my mustang with stock rims and unpainted black front bumper. guess how much i love my car! i'll probably never own another car other than a v6 mustang. or maybe a v8. one day, i'll build a mean ass v6. right now...saving for a house.

Saw them last year at Unversal (Hollywood). They look impressive but most car enthusiast should be able to see the so-called "gadgets" on those cars are just for show as in RICE!!!

You'd seem to miss my point here 3.8. Im just saying is this: Mitshubishi took the lame and boring car called a Lancer, threw on some body kits, a carbon fiber wing, a turbo-charger, wider rims, tight suspension, and all those other add-on; of course its gonna kill a Mustang. I'd seen Evo's on a drag strip. THey are fast. No arguemet there. What really piss me off is, cuz I drive an natural asperated V6, my car is inferior. Those 2 cars arent even on the same playing feild. Now if I have a Steeda Q400 mustsang or a Roush stage 3, or a super-charge Saleen and they just totally wasted me, I wont feel so piss.
Second point. These guys are also buying used, cheap econ cars and putting in more money then the car was worth when it was purchase. Excuse me for buying a brand new car and having car payment. I cant afford a new car and the extra 3 grand for a supercharger. If my mustang was $6 grand, i'd have money for all those other bolt ons.
But in the end, I'd know I can pretty much beat some of them stockers. Which makes me sleep just well at nite.
I watched 2Fast2Furious on a borrowed DVD because I couldn't bring myself to watch it for any amount of money. However, I seem to remember that they street raced some vintage 8's and said before the race that they couldn't beat them unless they used some creative driving (like forcing them into a chicken match).
Also, didn't they trade in their Mitsu's for the vintage domestics at the end?
