Talking Burnout

I have an automatic transmission and i am wondering how to properly peel out, do you just mash the gas or put it in neutral and rev it up then throw it into gear or what, thanks for your info.

DONT EVER rev and put it in gear you can damage the tranny.

Even the "recommended" procedure should not be done regularly, it heats up the tranny.

Place the car in 1st gear while pressing the BRAKES and accelerate until tires spin.

To be honest, dont waste your time doing this, if you want to be "gentler" at least drop some water/soap under the tires to ease the initial spin which is the most "destructive".

I did the neutral to D ummm yeah needed a new trans after a couple of those hahah but my trans was well on it's way to be shitted anyways. The troque converter sends fluid to the gears and when that happens fluid gets trapped and damages the trans.

Just mash down the break and mash down the gas until 3000-or so maybe more RPMs then let go of the break and you should launch well. if you do it from 1000-1900 you bog out like my shitty car and wont launch very well. it wears down rubber rotors and pads but anything is better than replacing the trans. so in that case just save that for serious racing

You can get things liek a stall converter and a deeper trans fluid pan and trans cooler.

The stall converter will replace your factory torque converter and allowing you to power brake to a higher RPM without damaging the rotors and pads so much. the depper pan will allow the fluid to be cooler and a trans cooler will keep the trans cool in heavy shifting and such.

you can also put bleach on your tires, it eats away at the rubber compounds. Doing this makes it easier to burn off and more smoke. Also, if you do this, make sure you burn off so much that all the bleach gets off your tires, if you dont it will be a little hard to go around corners and really hard to go up hills.

hold brake and accelerate until they start spinnin. thats the "safest" way. i say that cause none of them are really good for your car.
