Default 400 rwhp V6!!!

Ok so I was looking through mustang world last night and look what I came across: Finially a V6 that would make the GT's jealous.

There's a bunch of those running around. Some are making close to 450 hp.

NICE! VERY NICE! :thumbsup

That is a quality setup done the right way! It is very streetable. It does push the 3.8 to it's limits on a streetable combination. Remember, the 3.8 is a 5.0 less a few cyclinders. Very capable motor. If he applied the same money/combination to a 5.0 he would be close to the 600 hp range w/out nitrous. But his advantage is weight and having a unique car. Very nice, that is what I wanted to do to my 2000 V6.

Dang that is nice!

I'm going to Email the guy and see he will come over here and chat with us about what he has done.

Truly a nice car. Any V6 Mustang that pushes over 300HP is great in my book, and will certainly catch its share of V8s napping. But that car is definitely one of the nicest I have seen.

Thumbs up.

I was looking at that supersix motorsports website on wether or not its street legal. this is what they have to say:

"Are the PowerPaks emissions legal? That depends on your local emissions requirements, but in the
strictest sense no. While we make no warranty or guarantee regarding emissions performance or emissions
legaility, in most cases, Stage 2 and Stage 3 kits readily pass most emissions tests."

So, who knows. Although I'm tempted in doing more research on their Stage 2 set up. They claim it will put out as much power as a GT. Now won't that piss off a few GT owners out there seeing a v6 beating their v8.

its very streetable, a blower along on a stock 99+ motor will put down 300rwhp~ so with a 4.2 stroker motor and ported heads/cam/intakes (99+ cant go wild with cams so its very streetable) you will have no problem putting down 270bhp/270btq with a 3.8 built motor and quite a bit more with a 4.2.... with low compression and a blower pushing 15 psi 400+ rwhp and tq is easy
