Anyone out there over proctective of the Mustangs, I recently had a bad experience, with a stupid Mini bike which I found half way under my rear in of my car, after I pull him out not caring his face was smash in, he told me he was going to fast and driving at night. Truth was he was racing with another bike and a hoodlom, after the PD came they had the nerve to ask why I did not call the perimedic's, I just stared. this was a $1000.00 dollor repair, that I paid for. Now my Baby goes in the garage all the time. This was another expensive item just to protect my car.

No, your not the only one. I was nuts over my triple black 1979 Lincoln Town Car showroom new, for that matter, all of my cars. I paid for it, its mine, I worked hard for it. Its in your right to protect your investment. Sorry to bable..........

Your baby must be protected from all those who do not have the proper respect for a mustang. I was out at the store last week and i saw a cart shoved up against someone elses mustang I can't stand to see things like that. I don't think their car had any scratches on it from the cart. I just want to smack people who do things like that

I used to be MUCH more protective of my car…. But now that she was hit and no longer “show quality” I am not so protective.

Of course when someone decides to key my hood………. but enough of that…….

When I get her back in shape again, I will increase the “protection factor” again.

i keep a shovel in my trunk at ALL times in case of disrespect......

ya, there are just some places i will NOT park, or most of the time i will take up two spots just to make sure nobody parks too close. i hate it when some SUV comes a parks in one of those COMPACK ONLY spots. then i can't get into my car. it drives me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

That's why you have the car, to enjoy it. My sister thinks it's pathetic when I stare out the window at it. As long as the neighbors don't think I'm staring at them, I'm ok.

I park in two spots
I carry a bat in my trunk
I constantly look out the window at it
I even walk by it just to look at it.

If I park and someoen parks next to me at the same time I wait till they get out first so they dont hit my car or if I get in my car and someone parks I wait to till they get out

I usually try to stay away from others cars.

I am way over protective.

My brother recently punched a huge dent in my fender because I woudln't let him use my car for shcool when he has a 2004 Jeep. **** HIM now how am I going to fix my fender AND THAT WAS MY GOOD SIDE
I hate him. i never get along with him. he yells at me for stealing some of hsi old clothes he steals all my expensive **** and uses my car and **** i ******* hate it! I can't believe he punched my car. I want to beat the **** out of him for that.

I was on a course yesterday and had to park my car on the street in the centre of the city. I made sure I could see it out of the window, and made sure that I got a seat by the window.
The car has a microwave alarm on it, so whenever someone gets within 2 feet of it, the alarm "Chirps". Everytime that happened I was almost running for the door!

My wife reckons that i am ridiculously over protective of the car (like making sure her car blocks mine in on the drive at home!). If I am over protective, then so be it!
