Thanks...

Yeah, I'd like to have the more "full" look ... but I really don't want to have to worry about scraping everywhere I go...............

Yours wont scrape that much being a 2000 model V6. Mine scrapes all the time because of the convertible chasis brace. You get use to it

Personally I like the lowered look better with those kind of wheels/tires you have one there.

With the tires/wheels like that it just makes it look to high, to much wheel well space, in my opinion that is.

Just go with a 1.5" drop, don't go past that it will be to much. My brother and my friend with a Black Cobra both lowered theirs with Eibach SPORT KIT (Bigger drop than Pro Kit) and both hate it and are switching back to stock when they can afford it, it's not fun when you are driving 50 mph and have to FULLY stop to go over certain areas. There is one area where u cross the highway and u usually need to go fast so u don't get hit, well the area u go up is a hill and scrapes horribly if u don't go over it at 3mph

you should definatly lower the car, if you want a drop that wotn cause any issues go no more than 1.5 inches, i recommend 1.25 inches with ford FMS C springs 600f/250r rate 1.2 drop front and back very nice springs and only 109.00 at www.gefracing.com

I don’t think it looks too bad as it is, but yes it could be lowered. But as others have stated, I would watch how much you lower it.

I am running stock rims on my 94 and they sometimes bother me (looks). There is a bit too much room in the wheel wells. I think on mine I will first increase the tire size to take up the room, and then see if I want to lower it. For me, lowering is not an issue of “lowering” but removing the extra wheel well room.

I don’t like the look of a lowered car that still has wheels too small (visually) for the car, the same as I don’t like trucks that raise the body and then don’t increase the tire size to take up the extra space. There should be a balance in looks and purpose. IMHO

my car scraped allllll the time. you really do get used to it though. Take it slow over speed bumps and stuff and other than that, you should be fine. with a 1.5 drop that is. anylower and it will effect ratios and stuff underneath.

If you want the LOOK of a lowered car, bigger rims will give you the effect of lowering without the worry of scraping. dont go anybigger than 18'' though, as again it will effect turning ability.

My car looks way better lowered imo. I have before and after pics in my gallery. I bought Eibach Pros off E-bay for $201 shipped. :thumbsup

How can you get used to the car scraping, I'd have to smack myself everytime it scraped. I cringe when it happens that one time, when I go over a speed bump a little too fast. I couldn't take that every day
