Default Flying Under The Radar

Non technical question, anyone fix there six to move but not be notice sort of speak, as the new laws in in Cali cops love to pull over overly fix up cars such as with large spoliers, lots of bling, but to have a ride with all the goodies and no flash, just the good stuff, lowered but not excessive, with good suspension parts. I have such a ride, and can cruise with out being noticed.

... are you asking how to fix it to be sleeper or just saying it's fixed as a sleeper.

A little bit of both, we know our cars are not barn stormers, unless we add a power adder. but our cars do handle real well, and for some reason most of us are challanged on the street..I've done the usual springs, control arms, but I would like to add a cage but only for safety reasons. my concern is would this cause a attraction issue? both with local authorties and the street crowd? any comments?

I dunno if it's the same law in Cali as it in in Jersey. but Cages would trun the car illegal to drive on the street. and our cars are wtached like hawks. this is the will of the steed. They know that we can be quick. you're car stock will draw authority attention, I would have an escort home every night to make sure I didnt blast down the back roads lol. and my v6 doesnt even move quick when i get a v8 then they can worry. lol.

but everything will draw attention we have 40 years under our belt of wrecking havoc on the roads. it's notorious for stangs so either way you'll be watched, just be careful out there, don't do anything stupid, "it's never worth it to push to the max when you aint on the tracks" play it safe, you'll do fine
if you do the roll cage, tin the rear windows so they dont see it. most cages wont go past the side windows. so that will be fine.

Thanks, called the local chp office, they said single hoop with a x bar is legal...but they keep asking details of my vehicle and the general purpose..I'm not stupid, used a distant pay phone and gave no trace name. seems our cars are attention hogs...I'm looking to add a 05 v8 to my stable, wife permiting. thanks again for your help.

Law enforcment does watch Stangs. The thing you missed is this... Just as closely as everyone else. Maybe a different reason, but just the same.

Isn't it great?
