Well My foglights came into today , took off work to get them installed

Suppose to take like 30 min to an hour with my model.

Took me 8 hours

So I unpackage the goods and immediatly go to work already got the center console opened up for the switch and the fog light wiring hanging in place.

I look at the bracksts and the directs were not for my epscific model so I just threw them in the garbage.
(good move on my part I think)

Well I finally came to the conclusion when I fixed my front end from my accident... I put the bumper (metal absorber) UPSIDE DOWN!!!!!!! Wow! So after trudging around cursining "WHAT a waste!!!" cURSEING lmao.

I decide to dismantle my front end. this never gets ******* old for me. not like I havn't done this before lol.

Just hecktic. The bumper was all dented and mishaped by a hit and run so i took a sledge to it to bang it into a decent shape.
Eh.

Used a lot of washer as shimmys to make it all even lol half inch off whatever . long story short got it back on. and that was just enough work on my ass.

So I go to install the switch im no ******* electrician and my car had enough electrical problems. so I farted. someting looked liek ti fit and unsued. Plugged it in the thing lit up ^^. CLICKED THE SWITCH! nothing happened.

Forgot the relay so I opened the fuse box pluggged it in and my fogs flickered on but the relay had this wierd plastic extension and I couclnt close the fuse box LIKE WHAT IN THE ****!!!

So I took it out and broke it off lol.

Fuse box slosely tight and nicely after that
SO I decide to go take it for a spin... car wont start.

BATTERY DIED! I was ******* furious now.

and I had to turn my wheels without power steering
NO FUN. Pushed my car out of the garage to jump start it. Alternator worked bad batter

Then My car light wouldnt go off... the switch in the door like broke! MY ASS wd 40 and I twisted it, the light went off after liek 15 tries
got the car started drove it in the garage turned it off and I ******* came up here and was like... wow... i HATE THAT CAR LOL.

but I love it so much, all is workign now

ordered underdriver pulleys today , was kind of looking to putting them on but after reading your fog light story I might hold off for a week or two --- LOL Maybe this is what beer is made for --- LOL

well at least you got them in. I took a while to put mine in too because I decided to take off the bumper. shortly after I got everything off and actually looked at how the lights go in, I realized that I could have saved myself about an hour and a half by just looking at what I was doing. Oh well. Im really glad I got them in though. My headlights dont light up the roads enough here in Oregon, there are deer everywhere and I really dont want to wreck my car.

well anyway Im glad to here you got them in.

I don't think they help me too much... the kind lit up the ground wider so that was alright as long as I can see that they light up more it was worth the 3 days of work.

Alright after hearing your story i really don't feel so bad, but is it just me or do the Mustangs have a mind of their own and really don't like people f***ing with them much. Here is my story.

Got my Mustang about 7 months ago and i couldn't stand the factory sound system in it. I have been installing audio and video systems in cars for about 6 years now and am pretty good at it. (not bragging) So i went and bought brand new door speakers and put them in along with my CD player, 3 amps, 2 10-inch subs, XM radio, 5.5 inch monitor, and dvd player from my previous car. Well only one speaker worked, my CD player blew which sent a voltage surge back to one of my amps and blew that, plus my dvd player would play at all. Just bought that dvd player about 4 months ago. I was furious. So then i installed some fog lights and only one of them worked, had to buy a second set and only one of them worked also, well that made two that worked. After the fog lights, i went for white underbody lights on my black beauty. Holly crap, bad time, i put 4 screws in each tube to hold it in place, well one day one of them just magically fell off while i was driving. All 4 screws wer out. Don;t know what it is about my stang, but it's tempermental. Thanks for making me feel better.

Dewd , maybe you should go to some savage yards and see if you can buy a rebuildable stang . Just use the parts off of yours . You should be able to pick up a 98 V6 for under $1500 ( wrecked ) . I bought my stang for $1200 with front end damage .

Nah that wouldn't work I mean my car isnt that bad, yeah it still a lil dented underneath there. but Im not gonna swap out my car dont have the time. Im a full time student, and when Im home I work everyday so I need a car. Just going to get rid of it. And with my bro graduating, and my parents stop making payments on his jeep. the only have to pay tuition (which I pay off) and thats it. so there will be room to help me get a car that I'll be set with for college and starting my life out.
