Hey everyone just a heads up the Southern V6 Ford Challenge event is fast approaching, its being held in Steele, Alabama. You can pre-register for the event on the race website or sign up on race day, if you can try to pre-register cause it encourages others to sign up as well. Check out the race website for race details and for info on the other V6 Ford Challenge events coming up this year.
humm they might of, that name sounds familiar, I was wondering why someone was contacting me about the race and a track, seemed odd, they were not to specific so I was not sure if it was about the V6FC or just a fluke email since I have visited many trrack sites and forums, figured it might have just been spam or something. Where is that track?

It's located at the headquarters of the SCCA, Topeka, Kansas.
Since the Kansas Speedway opened up, they've been hurting for business, but the track is awesome. several drag records are recorded there, and the NHRA Championship Series is held there, too.
OK yeah I did receive something from them, I see they host a FFW event and since they do that we will not be allowed to hold our event there, FFW has a contract with their tracks that no other FORD event is allowed to be hosted there, or at least no other event with FORD in the title, and since we are called the V6 FORD Challenge we would not be allow to host our event there most likely, I tried to get Norwalk last year and thats what they told me about the FFW contract, I assume its the same at all FFW venues.

less then 2 weeks till race day, is anyone from AFM.com coming to the event? Remember V8's can come and test and tune inbetween heats.
Hey, Jamie, when did they switch to the DIS?
It was after the T-bird, SC? or was it the 94 Stang that started with the DIS?
